In celebration of International Education Day 2026, Cambodia Youth Consulting (CYC), in collaboration with Yuvachun – Khmer Youth Network, proudly hosted “Education to Career: Integrating Cambodia’s Next Generation.”

This half-day event was created with one clear purpose: to bridge the gap between education and the real world. As Cambodia continues to grow and evolve, so do the expectations placed on young people entering the workforce. Through this event, we aimed to open honest conversations about how students can better prepare themselves not only academically, but also strategically and professionally for the careers ahead of them.

We were honored to welcome an inspiring panel of distinguished guests: Sihapanha Moun (Panya), Neath Nguon, Thierry Tea, and Sok Soth. Each speaker brought unique insights shaped by their personal journeys, professional expertise, and leadership experiences.

The panel discussion explored practical and timely topics, including:
– Industry Expectations & Future Workforce Needs – What employers are truly looking for beyond academic results.
– Career Pathways in Cambodia: Local and International Perspectives – Understanding opportunities at home and abroad.
– Consulting Mindset: Thinking Strategically in Any Career – How analytical thinking and problem-solving skills apply across industries.
– Confidence Under Pressure: Making Clear Decisions in High-Stakes Moments – Building resilience and clarity in challenging situations.

Beyond the discussions, the event also created space for meaningful networking. Young professionals and students had the opportunity to connect directly with speakers and peers, exchange ideas, and build relationships that may shape their future paths.

As CYC’s first official event of this scale, it was more than just a panel discussion, it was a step toward building a stronger connection between education and opportunity in Cambodia. We are proud to have created a platform where conversations were not only inspiring, but also practical and forward-looking.
